BIBLE STUDIOS TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service carefully (“Terms”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, digital content, subscription features, and related services developed, published, operated, or made available under the Bible Studios name, including www.minpray.com (collectively, the “Services”).

For purposes of these Terms, “Bible Studios,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer, publisher, seller, or legal owner identified in the applicable app store listing or on the relevant Service.

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

1. SCOPE OF THE SERVICES

Bible Studios may provide Bible-reading, prayer, devotional, educational, journaling, meditation, inspirational, entertainment, community, or other faith-based digital experiences. Features vary by application and may change over time.

Certain Services may include additional terms, purchase disclosures, community rules, or feature-specific notices. Those additional terms form part of these Terms. If a feature-specific term directly conflicts with these Terms, the feature-specific term will control only for that feature, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use the Services if applicable law prohibits you from receiving or using them.

3. LICENSE AND USE OF THE SERVICES

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Bible Studios grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, access, and use the applicable Service on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with any usage rules imposed by the applicable app store or distribution platform.

Except where expressly permitted by Bible Studios or applicable law, you may not:

(a) copy, reproduce, modify, translate, adapt, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Services;

(b) sell, resell, sublicense, lease, lend, rent, assign, transfer, or otherwise make the Services available to a third party;

(c) decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, decode, or attempt to discover the source code, underlying ideas, algorithms, models, or technical structure of the Services;

(d) bypass, disable, interfere with, or defeat any security, access-control, subscription, advertising, or rights-management feature;

(e) use the Services to build, train, test, or improve a competing product or service, or copy the features, functions, design, graphics, or content of the Services;

(f) make the Services available for simultaneous use by multiple users unless the relevant subscription or feature expressly permits it;

(g) use the Services to transmit malicious code, viruses, harmful files, or unlawful material;

(h) interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, availability, or performance of the Services or any related systems;

(i) access non-public portions of the Services, Bible Studios systems, or the systems of our service providers without authorization;

(j) use automated tools, bots, crawlers, scrapers, data-mining tools, or similar methods to access, extract, index, or copy content, except where expressly authorized in writing; or

(k) use the Services in any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized manner.

Bible Studios may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that a user has violated these restrictions, created a security risk, infringed the rights of another person, or exposed Bible Studios or another person to legal liability.

4. APP STORES AND DISTRIBUTION PLATFORMS

A mobile application may be downloaded through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store or distribution platform (each an “App Provider”). You acknowledge and agree that:

(a) these Terms are between you and Bible Studios, not between you and the App Provider;

(b) Bible Studios, and not the App Provider, is responsible for the applicable application and its content, subject to these Terms and applicable law;

(c) the App Provider has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the application unless its own terms state otherwise;

(d) to the extent an application fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot lawfully be disclaimed, you may notify the App Provider, and the App Provider may provide any remedy available under its policies or applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App Provider has no other warranty obligation regarding the application;

(e) Bible Studios, and not the App Provider, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the application, including product-liability claims, consumer-protection claims, regulatory claims, and claims that the application infringes a third party’s intellectual-property rights, to the extent required by applicable law;

(f) you must comply with the App Provider’s terms, policies, usage rules, and payment requirements; and

(g) the App Provider and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of the provisions of these Terms that relate to your license and use of the application and may enforce those provisions against you where permitted.

5. CHANGES, UPDATES, AVAILABILITY, AND ADVERTISING

Bible Studios may update, improve, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue any Service or feature at any time. We may provide updates automatically where your device settings and applicable platform rules permit. These Terms apply to updates, upgrades, replacements, and modified versions of the Services unless separate terms are provided.

We do not guarantee that every Service or feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Planned maintenance, technical failures, legal requirements, security concerns, third-party service changes, or other circumstances may affect availability.

Some Services may display advertisements, sponsored content, or third-party offers. The type, placement, and amount of advertising may change. Advertising providers and other partners may process information as described in our Privacy Policy and their own policies.

6. ACCOUNTS

Some Services may allow or require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information updated.

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account, except to the extent caused by Bible Studios. You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or use.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, sell or transfer an account, or use an account for unlawful or abusive activity.

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS, IN-APP PURCHASES, AND FREE TRIALS

Some Services or features may require a paid subscription, one-time purchase, or other in-app purchase. The price, billing period, included features, trial period, and other material purchase terms will be displayed before you confirm the transaction.

Subscriptions may be offered on a weekly, monthly, annual, or other recurring basis. Unless the purchase screen states otherwise, a recurring subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period until canceled.

When a purchase is processed by an App Provider:

(a) payment will be charged to the account associated with that App Provider;

(b) renewal charges will be made according to the billing period and price shown at the time of purchase, subject to any permitted price change;

(c) the App Provider may process taxes, currency conversions, billing notifications, renewal notices, and payment-method updates; and

(d) the transaction is also subject to the App Provider’s payment, subscription, and refund terms.

A free or discounted trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before the renewal or conversion date shown in your account. Trial eligibility may be limited by user, account, device, region, or promotional terms.

Bible Studios or the App Provider may change subscription prices or benefits. Any change will take effect only after the notice, consent, or other procedure required by the App Provider and applicable law.

8. CANCELLATION

You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription at any time through the account or subscription settings of the App Provider that processed the purchase, or through another cancellation method identified at the time of purchase.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, manage the subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. For subscriptions purchased through Google Play, manage the subscription through Google Play subscription settings.

Deleting an application, signing out, or ceasing to use a Service does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Unless the purchase terms, App Provider rules, or applicable law state otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal, and you will continue to have access to the paid subscription benefits until the end of the current paid billing period. No further recurring charge will be made after the cancellation becomes effective.

9. REFUNDS

Refund eligibility and refund processing depend on the payment method, the App Provider’s policies, the circumstances of the purchase, and applicable law.

For purchases processed through the Apple App Store, refund requests must generally be submitted to Apple through Apple’s designated purchase-support process. For purchases processed through Google Play, refund requests must generally be submitted through Google Play or to Bible Studios when Google Play directs the user to contact the developer.

Bible Studios cannot directly issue a refund for a transaction when the App Provider exclusively controls the payment and refund process. Cancellation alone does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

For purchases processed directly by Bible Studios, any refund right disclosed at the time of purchase or required by applicable law will apply.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. PRIVACY

Our Privacy Policy explains how Bible Studios collects, uses, stores, protects, and discloses information in connection with the Services. By using a Service, you acknowledge that information may be handled as described in the applicable Privacy Policy.

Different applications may collect different categories of information or use different third-party services. App-specific privacy disclosures, consent screens, and app-store data disclosures may therefore supplement the general Privacy Policy.

11. CONTENT ON THE SERVICES

The Services may contain Bible passages, devotionals, prayers, reflections, educational materials, audio, images, illustrations, quotations, games, user-submitted material, links, and other content (“Content”).

Bible Studios seeks to provide useful and meaningful Content, but Content may contain typographical, technical, translation, contextual, or other errors. We do not guarantee that all Content is complete, current, suitable for every person, or free from inaccuracies.

Certain Bible translations, quotations, audio recordings, artwork, music, fonts, images, and other materials may be owned by third-party licensors and used under license, permission, or applicable legal exceptions. Additional copyright notices may appear within a particular Service.

Your use of Content is at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for determining whether Content is appropriate for your circumstances.

12. FAITH-BASED, WELLNESS, AND PROFESSIONAL-ADVICE DISCLAIMER

The Services are intended to support personal Bible reading, prayer, devotional reflection, faith-based learning, and general inspiration. They are not intended to replace the guidance of a qualified pastor, clergy member, counselor, physician, mental-health professional, attorney, financial adviser, or other professional when such guidance is appropriate.

Content relating to emotional well-being, relationships, habits, grief, anxiety, health, or similar subjects is provided for general informational and devotional purposes. It is not medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, legal advice, or other professional advice.

Bible Studios does not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, relational, health, financial, or personal result from using the Services.

If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service or qualified professional.

13. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNITY FEATURES

Some Services may allow users to submit, post, upload, share, transmit, or make available text, comments, prayers, images, profile information, or other material (“User Content”).

You retain any ownership rights you have in your User Content. By making User Content available through a public, shared, or community feature, you grant Bible Studios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, moderate, promote, and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You represent that you own or have all rights and permissions necessary to submit your User Content and grant this license.

You may not submit User Content that:

(a) violates any law or the rights of another person;

(b) infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;

(c) is fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, or unlawfully violent;

(d) contains malware, unauthorized advertising, spam, or deceptive links;

(e) reveals another person’s private or sensitive information without permission; or

(f) is otherwise harmful to users or inconsistent with the intended nature of the Service.

Bible Studios may, but is not obligated to, review, moderate, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose User Content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, respond to legal process, or maintain the integrity of the Services.

User Content is not necessarily reviewed, verified, or endorsed by Bible Studios. You assume responsibility for your interactions with other users and your reliance on User Content.

14. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL-PROPERTY COMPLAINTS

Bible Studios respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We may remove or restrict access to material that we reasonably believe infringes another person’s rights and may suspend or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

A copyright complaint should include:

(a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

(b) identification and location of the allegedly infringing material within the Service;

(d) a statement that the complainant has a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

(e) a statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complainant is authorized to act for the copyright owner; and

(f) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

15. PROHIBITED AND UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to:

(a) use the Services for an unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;

(b) gather or use users’ names, email addresses, profile details, or other information for unsolicited advertising, spam, harassment, surveillance, or unauthorized profiling;

(d) interfere with another user’s access or experience;

(e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation;

(f) use the Services commercially for the benefit of a third party unless Bible Studios has authorized that use in writing;

(g) encourage, assist, or enable another person to engage in prohibited conduct; or

(h) use the Services in a manner that may damage Bible Studios, an App Provider, a service provider, another user, or any third party.

Bible Studios may investigate suspected violations and may cooperate with App Providers, service providers, rights holders, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities where appropriate and lawful.

16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, advertisements, products, platforms, content, or services that Bible Studios does not own or control.

Bible Studios does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, or services. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that third party’s terms and policies. You are responsible for reviewing those terms and assuming the risks associated with your use.

17. OWNERSHIP AND FEEDBACK

The Services, excluding User Content and third-party materials, are owned by Bible Studios or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, service mark, attribution, license notice, or other proprietary notice included in or accompanying a Service.

If you provide ideas, suggestions, comments, reviews, or other feedback regarding the Services (“Feedback”), you grant Bible Studios a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation or obligation to you. This does not transfer ownership of your private personal information.

18. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using the Services at any time. Stopping use or deleting an application does not cancel an active subscription.

Bible Studios may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to a Service, account, or feature if:

(a) you violate these Terms or applicable law;

(b) your conduct creates a security, legal, financial, or reputational risk;

(d) payment for a paid Service fails or is reversed;

(e) an App Provider, regulator, court, or other authorized body requires action; or

(f) Bible Studios discontinues the relevant Service.

Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, we may provide notice before termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and disputes, will survive.

19. INDEMNITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bible Studios and its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from claims, proceedings, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to:

(a) your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Services;

(b) your User Content;

(d) your violation of applicable law; or

(e) your infringement of another person’s rights.

This section does not require a consumer to indemnify Bible Studios to the extent such an obligation is prohibited by applicable law.

20. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL INCLUDED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

BIBLE STUDIOS DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ALL WARRANTIES ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OF TRADE.

BIBLE STUDIOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT; BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION; BE SECURE OR ERROR-FREE; OR BE FREE OF VIRUSES, DEFECTS, HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR LOSS OF DATA.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIBLE STUDIOS AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO:

(a) your access to, use of, or inability to use a Service;

(b) any interruption, error, defect, security incident, or loss of data;

(d) Content obtained through a Service;

(e) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions, account, or Content; or

(f) any other matter relating to the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bible Studios’ total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to an affected Service will not exceed the greater of:

(a) the amount you paid to Bible Studios for that Service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or

(b) fifty United States dollars (US$50).

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if Bible Studios was advised that damage was possible or a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

22. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, disclaimers, or limitations of liability. If such laws apply to you, some provisions of these Terms may not apply, and you may have additional rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

23. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules or principles.

If you are a consumer and the mandatory laws of your country or region give you rights that cannot be waived or require a different governing law, those mandatory rights and requirements remain applicable.

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Bible Studios may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, platform requirements, or applicable law.

We may provide notice through a Service, on our website, by email, through an app-store listing, or by another reasonable electronic method. Where required by law, we will provide advance notice before material changes take effect.

The “Last Updated” date identifies the latest revision. By continuing to use the Services after revised Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and cancel any active subscription before its next renewal.

25. GENERAL TERMS

These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy, purchase disclosures, and feature-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bible Studios regarding the Services and replace prior agreements on the same subject.

Bible Studios’ failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of its right to do so later.

If a court or other competent authority finds any provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Bible Studios’ prior written consent. Bible Studios may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the relevant Service, subject to applicable law.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

Electronic notices and records satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing, to the extent permitted by law.
